The CPS 3000 is a CPS series Super Soaker that was released in 1998. It is no longer available for purchase since its home line has since been discontinued. It is classified as an elastic-pressurized soaker.

DetailsEdit

The CPS 3000 features a backpack-style water reservoir that holds a very large water capacity of 8L. The backpack itself has two layers; the outer layer holds the straps, while the inner water bladder is vinyl. A soft exterior adjusts to match the amount of water that the bladder holds. The backpack has a 1 meter long tube connected to the soaker by a closeable valve/adapter. A zipper on the right side of the backpack where the tubing is allows for access to the inner compartment to make repairs or patch leaks if needed. The adapter on the tube locks onto the soaker with a twist/click lock. It takes approximately 26 pumps to fill and prime the soaker for firing.

The soaker also has a shoulder strap and a built-on handle, as so to make it easier to carry and hold.

It was also re-released as the CPS 3200, which featured a plastic backpack reservoir of similar capacity.

Nozzle SettingsEdit

The CPS 3000 has four different nozzle settings, rated as 5x, 10x, 20x, and Typhoon. The 5x, 10x, and 20x settings have a similar aperture size to the CPS 2500.

TriviaEdit

  • The CPS 3000 was the second Super Soaker to feature a backpack-type reservoir unit, the first-ever being the older Super Soaker 300.
