The Khaos MXVI-4000 is a Nerf RIVAL blaster that was released in Fall 2016. It comes included with a 40-round magazine and 40 High-Impact Rounds. It retails for 69.99 USD.

Details Edit

The Khaos MXVI-4000 is a flywheel system blaster in the RIVAL series. It is a fully automatic blaster and has two RIVAL-style tactical rails, one on top, and one on the bottom. It also has flip-up sights on the top tactical rail.

Position in Theme Edit

The Khaos act as a heavy full-auto primary of the RIVAL series.

Blaster Co-relation Edit

The Khaos uses a motorized conveyor belt feeding system, not unlike the N-Strike Elite series HyperFire.

Faults Edit

The main fault with the Khaos is that it takes 6 D batteries, meaning it is pretty heavy. In late 2016, Hasbro released a rechargeable battery pack for use in the Khaos, fixing this problem.

Another major complaiqnt is the fact that Hasbro does not sell 40-round magazines separately, making the reloading process a real chore. One trick to reload the 40-round magazine faster is to use a 12-round magazine for a speed-loading technique.

How to Fire Edit

Step 1 - Load 6 D batteries or the RIVAL rechargeable battery pack into the blaster
Step 2 - Insert 40 High-Impact Rounds into the 40-round magazine
Step 3 - Load the magazine into the blaster
Step 4 - Hold down the acceleration trigger, then hold down the trigger to fire the blaster

Trivia Edit

  • The Khaos MXVI-4000 is named after Khaos (also spelled as Chaos), who is the first of the primeval gods in Greek mythology.
