The Mediator is a 2018 Nerf N-Strike Modulus blaster that holds 6 Elite Darts. It is known for its customizability, where attachments for the blaster can be mixed and matched for a near-endless number of combinations. The blaster comes packaged with the a 6-Dart Clip, 6 Elite Darts, a detached magazine well and instructions. More accessories can be purchased for the Mediator in upgrade kits, with things like a barrel extension that can shoot darts and a shoulder stock that can shoot darts. It costs 19.99 USD. The blaster's box sports no range claims.
Description[]
The Modulus is a modular blaster, with various customization options. It has a white paint job with two tactical rails; this white paint job used with the Mediator is said to be a of a different shade of white than various other Modulus blasters. The blaster has a gray foregrip which also acts at the charging handle. The blaster's magazine well is detached for shipping and is detached when removed from its packaging; the magazine well must be attached for the blaster to function and once placed on, cannot be removed unless the blaster is taken apart.
With all its dedicated attachments on the blaster, the Mediator is known as the Mediator XL.
Internals[]
The Mediator's internals are quite standard for a blaster like this; it has somewhat the same internals as a Rampage due to very similar layouts, with the exception of the Mediator being in a much smaller package.
Position in Theme[]
The Mediator does not seem to fit any specific role in the Modulus line.
Blaster Co-relation[]
The Mediator does not really have anything for it to relate to; the closest blaster it can relate to is probably the Rampage, despite the Mediator being in a much smaller package.
How to Fire[]
Step 1 - Load 6 darts into the clip.
Step 2 - Load the clip into the blaster.
Step 3 - Rack the gray foregrip once to prime the blaster.
Step 4 - Pull the trigger to fire a dart, or rapidly rack the gray foregrip back and forth with the trigger held down to slam fire.
