The Nemesis MXVII-10K is a Nerf RIVAL blaster released in 2017 and retails for $99.99 USD.
Details
The Nemesis comes with a removable 100-round hopper. This gives it a particularly large ammo capacity. It is a fully automatic blaster with dual horizontal flywheels and has a conveyor belt feeding mechanism not unlike the Khaos MXVI-4000. It also features an agitator system that grabs the rounds from the hopper into the conveyor belt. It takes six D-sized batteries. However, it is also compatible with the RIVAL rechargeable battery pack that is used in the Khaos MXVI-4000. It also features two tactical rails; One on the hopper, and the other on the underside of the blaster itself.
Position in Theme
The Nemesis MXVII-10K acts as something of a heavy machine gun of the RIVAL line.
Blaster Co-relation
The Nemesis is very much similar to the Khaos MXVI-4000 because of the size, along with the conveyor belt-based feeding mechanism. They also have the same type of battery trays. That being said, this makes the Nemesis compatible with the rechargeable battery pack. It is the third flywheel-based blaster in the RIVAL series.
How to Fire
Step 1 - Load 6 D batteries or the Rechargeable Battery Pack.
Step 2 - Load the 100-round hopper into the Nemesis.
Step 3 - Hold down the acceleration trigger, then pull the trigger once to fire one round, or hold the trigger for fully automatic fire.
Trivia
- The Nemesis MXVII-10K is named after Nemesis (Also known as Rhamnousia or Adrasteia) a goddess in Greek mythology who enacts vengeance on those who succumb to hubris (arrogance before the gods).
- With its 100-round hopper, the Nemesis MXVII-10K has the second-highest ammo capacity of any Nerf blaster in history, the first being the N-Strike Elite series Hail-Fire, which was advertised as having a 144-dart capacity. It is still the highest-capacity RIVAL series blaster, as well as the highest-capacity single-feed Nerf blaster.
- 10K is an abbreviation for the number 10,000, which in the case of the RIVAL line, refers to the Nemesis' 100-round capacity.
