Ultimate Blasters is a short-lived Buzz Bee theme which consisted of six blasters. The series had a quirk in which the blasters could be stacked on top of one another. With the blasters stacked on top of each other, the whole formation was heavy. The blasters were very powerful compared to most other Buzz Bee blasters.
Some of the blasters had orange buttons on the side, which, when depressed, allowed a blaster to be taken off the formation. The series got poor sales, and because of that, was discontinued. However, the ability of the blasters connecting together lived on, as the next series to have the ability blasters connecting together was Power-Lock Air Warriors, or Snap-It. Water Warriors bore Ultimate Water Warriors, which also has blasters that snapped together. Unlike Ultimate Blasters, the two later series' blasters could snap together in any order, unlike with Ultimate Blasters, where they had to snap in a certain order.
